The industry is pleased to again disclose this information on the sources of its crude oil.

Purchases from reserve stocks and the Strategic Fuel Fund are allocated back to country of origin.

Sasol became a member of Sapia during the year 2000, and the figures from 2000 onwards include purchases of crude oil by Sasol.

The figures also reflect South Africa's own production of crude oil (from the Oribi and Oryx field).

This information does not include purchases by organisations which are not members of Sapia.
