The World Cup – will South Africa survive it?

When the South African government put in their bid to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup, they had done their research and knew what changes and preparations needed to take place. However, rumours have been circulating that South Africans will pay up to R30 a litre for fuel, over R100 for a hamburger at their favourite takeaways and that foreigners will be knocking at their doors for a place to sleep. So, to ease the frenzy around town, Zoopy went to those in the know find out just what we should expect during the World Cup and how or if we really do need to prepare.
